Thiago Silva & Ángel Di María optimistic about being involved vs Dortmund

L’Équipe report that 35-year-old central defender Thiago Silva is recovering more quickly than expect from the right thigh injury that he suffered last Sunday against Bordeaux, so much so that he could return to 1st team training as quickly as next week.

He was initially ruled out for Les Parisiens’ 2nd leg clash with Borussia Dortmund on 11th March. It is likely that if Silva is available for selection, he will not fully feel in match rhythm.

Le Parisien provided further good news day for PSG, reporting that the decision to take Ángel di María off before half-time on Saturday afternoon during their clash with Dijon, after the Argentinian appeared to have a thigh problem, was merely precautionary and that Di María is not injured at all. He is even expected to be available to face Lyon in the cup in midweek.
